So I’ve played the main quest 'The King is dead, long live the king' for the fourth time yesterday. Right before the wake, Yennefer asks you to wear some of the clothes she laid out for you. The first time, I played that quest, she layed out some black and white Nilfgaardian wear, which was fine and she complimented me for wearing it. The next time, she prepared a blue and a brown Skellige tunika for me and made a snide remark about me choosing my own gear. So yesterday, after I noticed that she had prepared the Skellige gear for me again, I went to Elihal and bought Nilfgaardian clothes. I removed my swords and gauntlets to look really upper-class and high-society-y, went to meet Yennefer – and she wasn’t happy again.

So, is this quest just kind of glitched? I was just wondering because the first time I played it, everything went smoothly.
