Razer Chroma is a product line (mice/kb/etc) that has customizable lighting in it.

Overwatch has a Razer Chroma profile for custom keyboard lighting built into it. It dims all keys on the kb not used as hotkeys and applies a custom colour setting to the hotkeys used in the game.
Basically it makes the hotkeys easier to see on your kb. Works great, more so if you hand tends to drift while playing.

i never get the point of using chroma since i dont look at my keyboard while playing so besides the fact of it looking good while not gaming it has no point for me :p.
i use my mouse hes color thema to show on with setting i am sc2 protos/zerg/terran then i have hots/rs/gta(dont know why i have a gta setting i rarely play it) and then i have my normal browsing setting that has no lights on it :p besides that i dont see any use of changing the color :p.

With a little programming (from what I understand) you can do all this yourself, but it is really nice to have them implement it into the game.

The point is that it is 'cool'. Most things that are cool don't really need a point and flashy lights are one of them. I just like looking down and saying, 'Man, that is cool'.

Something like the ultimate's 'R' glow when it's ready like the 'Q' in Overwatch would be amazing

They could do a simpler implementation like Diablo 3
All your peripherals are one color
Your skills keys are white, no light when the skill is on cooldown
peripherals blink when low on hp
What is needed to implement this is a way to access the in-game value (cooldown, hp, etc) which i am not certain is doable without a third party dll for hots
The implementation is done through the chroma sdk, which is installed by default when you plug-in a chroma device.

Really hoping they add this. I would love this functionality.
I know I'm not actively staring at my board, but it really does enhance the game.

Yet i do miss a profile like stated above.
A active profile as stated:

I would like to see an interactive Chroma Profile as well! :)

I just bought a death adder elite mouse for about $50. Its taking getting used to since it's way bigger than the mouse I had and it feels different in its curvature. Bought it because I got carpel tunnel a few weeks ago and it's supposed to be a great ergonomic mouse. Anyway, it's got cool light up effects :)

I use a chroma for overwatch, but for whatever reason, i prefer the four top down macro buttons on the logitech g300 when i'm playing HOTS.
