Console Commands Vampire The Masquerade

“Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines” is the second adaptation of the “Vampire: The Masquerade” pen-and-paper role-playing game (RPG) released for the PC. During the course of the game, Sebastion LeCroix, the Prince of Los Angeles, gives you various missions. You can refuse the missions, but he uses his mind-control abilities to force you to do any mission that you refuse to do. Entering cheat commands into the game console can be used to skip parts, if not all, of each mission.

Using the Console

Enabling the Console. For the Steam release: Under Steam's Library tab, right click on Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, and click Properties on the dialog box. Next, click on Set Launch Options, and add in -console on the next popup. Click OK, and the console will be. Jump to Useful Commands - All of these commands can be copied directly into the autoexec.cfg file. The // denotes a comment that the game engine. Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines Cheat Codes. Console Cheat Codes Just start the game with -console added to the shortcut command line. Press tilde to open the console in game, and use these cheats to do various things. Note that the console is very friendly, and if you're looking for a particular code just press a key like 'g', and all.

The console for “Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines” is not enabled by default. You need to modify the game shortcut to be able to use it. Right-click on the shortcut and select the “Properties” option. Add “-console” to the very end of the target line in the properties menu. Start the game using this shortcut to have the console enabled. Pressing the “~” key during gameplay opens the console prompt. You can enter the cheat commands into this prompt.

Ghost that Haunts Midnight

The Ghost that Haunts Midnight is the only mission that can be skipped entirely using a console cheat. This is the mission where Therese Voerman asks you to take care of a spirit in the Ocean House Hotel. It is not a long or difficult quest, but the scripted events and unnatural occurrences can potentially make it the most terrifying quest for many players. The console command to skip this quest is: “OceanHouseQuestComplete().”

Mission Time Reduction

You cannot directly skip other missions with console cheats, but there are several codes that can be used to virtually eliminate the amount of time most missions actually take. Most of the mission length comes from fighting regular enemies, navigating pathways and attempting to unlock doors. These can all be more or less skipped with the correct codes. Enter “noclip 0/1” to walk through obstacles. This allows you to walk straight from the beginning of a mission to the end point without the normal navigation time. Enter “notarget 0/1” to cause enemies to ignore you. These two codes eliminate most of the time normally required to complete a mission, but allow you to see the opening and closing cut scenes.

Dominate

Dominate is a skill path for the Ventrues and Tremere clans. It can add new dialogue options that can be used to bypass parts of some missions. You can give any vampire, regardless of the clan, the Dominate skill set through the console. The command is: “vstats get dominate 5.” The additional dialogue caused by the Dominate skill are marked in your dialogue options. It is not effective as using 'noclip' or 'notarget,' but can reduce the length of some of the more dialogue-based missions.
